There is nothing pretty here, but there is unflinching truth.

This is a collection of poems that moves through three arcs, the raw self destruction, staying where you were never wanted and slowly learning to call your own wreckage as mine. Much of these are drawn from my own experience, written during the times i needed these words most. Certain moments in life require us to not rush past them, rather sit, dissect each emotion and admit to oneself with honesty rather than glazing over it. A person does not miraculously heal themselves, time is required as equally as effort.

If you ever needed someone to sit with your pain instead of trying to talk you out of it, this book is for you.

content note: this collection includes themes of self-harm, grief, emotional distress and suicidal ideation.
