Theory of Me follows a deeply introspective journey of a protagonist who begins life believing identity is something that can be solved like an equation-something fixed, measurable, and definable. At first, they try to understand themselves through external expectations: family, society, academic success, and approval. This creates an internal formula where worth is tied to achievement and perfection.
As the story progresses, the protagonist begins to question this rigid model after experiencing failure, self-doubt, and emotional pressure. Joining a writing club and forming meaningful friendships-especially with Ava and Marcus-introduces new perspectives that challenge their belief that identity must be stable and proven.
