Siedah Jackson is trying to find her place in the world and she's not willing to compromise. She's not interested in any type of relationship due to being a product of a messy divorce. Marcus Harper is an aspiring music producer who is on the rise at being well known. He refuses to be in a relationship due to trust issues from a past relationship. Siedah and Marcus' paths cross at a mutual friend's party and they are mysteriously attracted to each other. After a few drinks, their inhibitions get the better of them and they connect secretly.
Thinking they would never see each other again, no need for formal exchanges. Until Siedah is invited to an album launch party, where she runs into Marcus and they get to speak. Turns out they want the same thing: No Strings. No Feelings. No Commitment. Just a standing date - 3 times a week.
Everything is working out for the both of them, or so they think. Both Marcus and Siedah both have some unfinished business with their exes who just aren't ready to give them up yet. When things turn ugly, Siedah and Marcus realize the love they had for each other which was never planned, however because of that love - people disappear and someone ends up dead.
NOTE: While this is a Stand-Alone story, If you want to follow the story of Marcus and Siedah, Please Read: THAT'S WHY I LOVE YOU & LIKE I WANT YOU & SWEET HOLY HONEY.
