Mexican Drug Cartel Atrocities. The Zombie Apocalypse. Texas Public Highway Safety Officer Armando Castillo was once one of the most dignified members of the state organization until a run-in with a Mexican drug cartel forced him into a life on the wrong side of the law. With no choice, Armando built a cruel reputation among the people of central Mexico through his work with the cartel as a sicario, an assassin for the criminal organization. He's paid to wait in comfort with two other hired killers until the cartel assigns the team to a job. One member of his team is a driver named Joyce who was once a car theif in the United States. The other, Buddy, is a certified psychopath who takes a lot of joy as a paid killer. When the zombie apocalypse hits, their boss sees an opportunity and assigns a new job: Destroy rival cartels and take over their book of business before delivering the drug lord across the border to San Uvalde, Texas, where his family is housed. It's an impossible mission. But if the money's right, Armando and his team will do everything in their power to fulfill the mission and get paid. It's the cruel fate of The Texas Assassins.
