Baktha Ratnakamu is a Telugu biography of Badrachala Ramadasu, a 17th-century Hindu saint and composer of devotional songs dedicated to Lord Rama. This book recounts the life and spiritual journey of Ramadasu, also known as Kancharla Gopanna, highlighting his devotion, his construction of the temple at Bhadrachalam, and his imprisonment. The book explores his contributions to Telugu literature and Carnatic music through his compositions, which are still sung today. Baktha Ratnakamu offers insights into the cultural and religious landscape of South India during the Kakatiya period, and celebrates the enduring legacy of one of its most beloved figures.
