This book gathers the heartfelt recollections of Padma Srinivasan, who lovingly chronicles the life and legacy of her father, Mr. M. G. Parameswara Iyer of Lalgudi. Born in Kerala and later settling in Tamil Nadu, Mr. Iyer's journey is a compelling rags-to-riches story. Forced to leave school to support his family, he rose through perseverance and grit to become a successful entrepreneur, building a thriving restaurant and several other businesses. Beyond his professional achievements, he was a pillar of strength, extending unwavering support to relatives and loved ones in times of need.
Complemented by essays from children, in-laws, and grandchildren, this collection paints a vivid portrait of a man whose industrious spirit, generosity, and quiet dignity shaped generations.
