Beyond the glamour, glitz and glitter of the neon metropolis that is Las Vegas lies a thriving community that many established and emerging writers call home. Within that community lies a phenomenon known as the Las Vegas Writers Group. It was the vision of the late Jay MacLarty, author of a series of thrillers published by Simon & Shuster. Jay envisioned a place where writers could come together to learn from one another and support each other as they practiced their craft.
