Each story in the series aims at responsibility, sharing, courtesy, honesty, safety as well as an occasional brain teaser! The author was influenced greatly from the bedtime stories that his father told him many years ago. By picking up the art of storytelling from his dad, the author subsequently told bedtime stories to his two daughters when they were infants and toddlers. The author also considers himself an amateur entomologist who has always had a love for insects and had included them in the stories that he told his children. When his daughters were little, he would walk with them in the backyard and look for different insects to show them. Tales From the Little Valley is a series of children's books that involve Bee and Grasshopper going on all sorts of adventures with their many friends. The author hopes that those who read it will find the joy of reading these stories to their children or even their grandchildren.
