In 2023, Sandra Dawes and her husband Satnam moved to Jamaica. Their decision stemmed from a visit to Treasure Beach during the COVID pandemic, which captured their hearts, and Sandra is now sharing the details of their journey. After settling into their new environment, they faced their first hurricane in 2024 when Beryl hit. Fifteen months later, another stronger storm, Melissa, came.
