Rick Kyle is a successful writer. He should be happy about his life. His recent book has been turned into a movie and readers are excited to read his next book. But ever since he moved back to his hometown from LA, Rick hasn't been able to write anything. Writer's block is wearing him down and he much prefers to stay at home and stare at the blank pages in front of him than do anything else. That is until his sister drags him out to go to Jake Starfire's performance. Gorgeous, multi-award-winning Jake Starfire is totally out of Rick's league. That is until Jake picks Rick out from a line of groupies and they end up having some of the best sex that Rick has ever had. Rick tries to keep it in perspective. He knows that he's likely to be just another notch in Jake's belt, but he can't help but feel smitten at the disarming and effortlessly charming Jake Starfire. After the night they spend together, everything changes for Rick. He might be able to write again, but there's something else missing from his life. But Rick is sure that it can't be the unattainable rock star, the one he slept with only once. And even if it was, there's nothing he can do about it. Is there? Please Note: This book contains adult language & steamy adult activities, it is intended for 18+ Adults Only. Novel, approx. 30,000 words in length. HEA (happy ever after ending). Does not end with a cliffhanger.
