Almost-eleven-year-old Lina is done believing in childish magic.

Star Dancing, the Purple Radiance, dream-making, planets, stars-it all feels like nonsense now. Her old DreamSearch did not turn out the way she expected, and lately Lina has been moping around, fighting with her best friend, and wishing she looked like the prettier girls in school.

Then Alexander appears in her room. He is gangly, red-haired, full of freckles, and very annoying. He also happens to be on a mission from the stars.

Before Lina knows it, she, Alexander, and her loyal golden retriever, Maera, are traveling to Toget, the planet of hard-but-easy wish fulfillment. To get there, they must cross a road frozen by negative thoughts, melt a wall with positive ones, and face the Greedy Girl, who only wants pretty, perfect things.

On Toget, Lina can finally make her wish come true. She can become beautiful. Popular. Perfect.

But when she gets exactly what she wanted, Lina discovers that perfection can take away more than it gives.

Star Dancer II: The Planet of Wishes is a magical children's fantasy adventure about wishes, friendship, self-acceptance, and the power of believing in who you already are.
