Springtime Heart is a collection of poems written over more than forty years, chronicling one woman's life through her observations on love and relationships, family and home and the natural world.
Growing up in rural Ontario, Myrna Broadley dreamed of living near the water, with a view of the waves and the sky. The girl became a woman, wife and mother, and realized her dream.
On Georgian Bay she found that spot of personal paradise. She marveled at the sights and sounds of the changing seasons; the fl uttering of wings at her birdfeeder; and the rainbow of colours she'd planted in her gardens. Amid it all, she experienced the joys and trials that came with raising a family.
To this day she still lives in her beloved country home on the shores of Georgian Bay, and watches the sun rise over the water every morning.
