Words of the poet: I don't know how to paint. I am still an uneducated brat in the world of colour and lines but I am deeply impressed by a line of artwork revolution. The line is - A pound of green is greener than half-pound of green. This line quoted by Gauguin was made the echo of my heart by my favourite artist Late Pranab Baruah; it was imparted a different dimension by Rasna Hiloidari, the person holding the hull of my life with firm hands and also a disciple of Abhay Duara a noted artist of yesteryears. I started watching the paintings with colour of words. The result of this journey once commenced with a special feeling is speaking paintings silent poems. The forward to the collection of twenty five poems inspired by world famous paintings of even number has been written by Ankur Deka.
