The poems in Sound Brilliance manage to capture the essence of a fleeting notion while expressing it thoroughly. Although most poetry may consist of similar ideas and cliches that have been revived, Alexa Leigh Corbett managed to stray from the generalized format and create a style that is all her own. Varied experiences, insight and honestly combined together to create a remarkable collection of poems. Following in a sequential order, the poems mimic a diary and allow the reader to journey with the author through life's unpredictability. Alexa's idealistic view is somewhat contagious and her love for people and the world is clearly apparent with her writing. This book contains outstanding poems about love, loss, taking risks, following your heart, chasing your dreams and becoming the person you always wanted to be.
