The word Family fails to reflect what for many years we have been shown in commercial ads, or in those sappy evening TV productions. It doesn't paint a picture of paradise, hell, or even a prison; the term Family can, in fact, be a synonym for adventure.
Does this sound like an exciting insight? Well, you better be careful, because true adventures are not for everyone. Each one hides an unexpected glitch, a problem, a complication, an obstacle and, at times, even a powerful enemy.

Ok, it is not the case here. However, we don't need a whip and an explorer hat to embark on this journey. All we need is a bit of healthy zest for life, and Laura has plenty to spare. This is her story, the story of a life packed with adventures, although you might find it strange that they will focus on houses, flowers, children, family fights, husbands, and young grandchildren to reprimand. What now? It doesn't sound as intriguing anymore? Then open this book, if you have the nerve! And when you get to the end and find yourself with a large smile plastered on your face, or are short of breath, or, perhaps with a drop of sweat on your face (oh, wait... is that a tear?) remember the words on this back-cover had been trying to warn you all along...
