Drawing inspiration from Goosebumps and Eerie Indiana, So Strange Times mixes elements of both to form it's own unique lore and story. A little spooky, a little weird, put together creating a paranormal mystery adventure that is all fun! Moving from the big city to a small town might not seem like anything special, and in most cases you'd be right. Small towns tend to be boring places where everyone knows everyone, and nothing interesting ever happens.
However the town of Crescent where fourteen year old Lex Porter moves to, isn't an ordinary small town. Almost as if taking a page out of those old wacky paranormal mystery stories from the 50s, Crescent is a living embodiment of eerie and odd. Unfortunately for Lex, he's a magnet for the bizarre. Upon arriving Lex finds himself dealing with a time anomaly, a neighbor who might be a witch that has taken a rather concerning interest in his father, some type of invisible monster, and a very mysterious man who calls himself Big Brah.
For Lex this small town has been anything but normal, and every bit strange.
