Fight your own tabletop battles with toy soldiers! These basic wargame rules put you in command of toy soldiers fighting over a battlefield of your own design. Kids can easily learn the core rules for soldiers moving and shooting. The more they play, the more they can enhance their skirmishes with advanced rules, giving some soldiers heroic abilities or special weapons. Use them to fight make-believe skirmishes or historical engagements. An engaging introduction to the wargame hobby kids can explore with their friends and family. Inside you'll find: * Basic rules for skirmishes between small groups of toy soldiers. * Advanced rules options to add new dimensions to combat as you become more familiar with the game. *Guidelines for playing games in different historical periods and fantastic settings. *Six starter scenarios - situations defining how games start - and more with each set of period guidelines. You will need to bring your own toys to this fight: a crowd of toy soldiers or figures, some six-sided dice, props for battlefield terrain, and a ruler or tape measure.
