Quirky, clever and humorous poems fill the pages of this little booklet of poetry. Many of these poems are about the author's experiences during childhood and adulthood throughout different places in New Zealand, which include visits to beaches, small towns and a visit to the pub. These are integral to New Zealand's laid back, free and easy lifestyle that comprises almost every kiwi's life in Aotearoa, Land of the Long White Cloud. There are also a few on spirituality, two light-hearted poems about Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un, not to mention the author having a laugh about his persona. Descriptive language, rhyme and metaphors are used to create vivid, fascinating images in the reader's mind. Sit beside the fire with a cup of coffee and enjoy this easy-to-read compilation of poems that will entertain the adult poetry connoisseur.
