She Chasing Hiraeth is a book of dreams and strength. The second book by the author Vaitarni, is the first in the English language. It was a dream come true being able to write this wonderful piece and produce it in front of the readers with great expectations and joy. It was a milestone, crossing which helped me to become more worthy of lifting a pen.
While framing down the verses, I realized the wonder of being a woman. The pride, elegance, and strength which flooded my veins by birth which I was far from familiar with. It was like self-observation and enlightenment. I became strong and accustomed to my feminity. My inner goddess is obliged to this composition.
The book is however raw and stimulating. The name of the book is itself appealing. The use of the word Hiraeth, literally meaning homesickness for a home you never had, makes the title lively and emotional. I loved how the whole composition took a vulnerable form due to its title although the poetry in there is all about the massive strength a woman carries in herself and all the adversities she has to face in her life. This book brings out the poignant side of being a female along with love, power, and sacrifice as vital emotions.
