She, Dragon is about family curses. It is about brokenness and finding yourself in the pieces. It is about the manipulations of love. It is about secrets. It is about acceptance. With real and relatable images, Faith Rice manages to recreate what could be considered some of the most difficult moments between childhood and adolescence. From unrequited loves, to haunting childhood memories and complicated relationships with family and self, you will find yourself reeling with new concepts about human nature. Transparent. Unfiltered. Unapologetic. She, Dragon provides stories in 3D! So much so you would swear you were there to witness them. Like a movie in word form, the book details painful memories of trauma and heartache in ways only a few could endure. Faith Rice makes you feel each emotion as if they were your own. The ending of each poem feels like the to be continued sentence at the climax of your favorite drama; you're upset that it's over but you can't wait until the next episode. - Limitless Soundz
