He suspects even Vanessa, Ian's young South American girlfriend, who becomes his guide. That she works for the government feeds his wariness. More troubling is that everybody he meets seems to know something he doesn't, which makes Jon feel like he's in a fishbowl. But Ian is all the family he has. And Jon cannot leave until he finds what happened to his world-traveling brother. A huge hurdle is that Jon has only two weeks to find Ian before he must leave the country-or be expelled. His options are few. He may be in danger. One wrong decision and Jon could disappear as well
