The poems in this volume chronicle my personal growth both as a poetess as well as an Iranian-American woman experiencing the dynamics of becoming middle-aged. The poems are raw and intensely honest. The narrative of my work is one of love and hope, and a celebration of the emotional connection and unity in the life experiences which shape us as adults. In every poem, you will find the common thread of love realized, as the title of this volume implies.
