I don't have so much tricks up my sleeve, as much as journalistic fundamentals to take down powerful and influential people that think they're completely above the law and won't ever get caught. I want to show them that we are watching and they will be held accountable. So if a politician is only in it for the money, and say they want illegals to leave, is there a possibility they don't want them to leave? Is there a chance they really want them here because immigrant labor is cheaper than American? Are politicians making money hand over fist because the companies that employ immigrants make truckloads of it themselves and therefore contribute more to campaigns? The vigilante types are probably linked to the corrupt politicians, who both stand to lose equally if immigrants were made legal. The politicians would lose a great source of cheap labor they could take advantage of, and the vigilantes would have to deal with a multi-racial society; which is all meant to benefit the status quo.
