Santa and Me: The SCADA Before Christmas is a take on the classic A Visit from St. Nicholas also commonly known as The Night Before Christmas poem attributed to Clement Clarke Moore. In Santa and Me, the focus is on Little Bobby and an appreciation of our industrial world and those who keep it running. The book covers the topic of industrial control systems (ICS) with a reference to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), a specific type of ICS, harking back to the first book published by Robert and Jeff: SCADA and Me. This book is perfect for children and adults alike who want to relive a classic Christmas time story with a modern twist focused on our various industrial industries ranging from electric, water, and gas utilities to manufacturing, mining, and the aviation community. The intent of this book is to take a lighthearted approach and appreciation of our industrial community while hopefully peaking the interest of children in our industrial world to go and learn more about it.
