When the now blinding, treacherous mists of error No more shall heaven's refulgent light restrain. Nor war's dark hideous shapes of gloom and terror Their shadowy wings of death, unfold again. O glorious hope! O glad anticipation! O rapturous future, to the longing soul! Hasten O Lord, and o'er earth's wide creation Let peace, thy peace, like a calm river roll. THE VOICE OF FLOWERS.
