>The Swan Princess is the story of a beautiful princess who loves graceful swans. In fact, she loves swans so much that her subjects begin to call her the Swan Princess'. Unfortunately, she is kidnapped by an evil baron's thugs. News gets out that she is being held in a castle in the Alps, and a brave young prince goes on a quest to rescue her. >This collection includes four other tales, all written and illustrated by Wayne E. Torbert. The inspiration to write these stories came from his grandchildren, all of whom love a good story! >As a young man in the Air Force, the author was able to travel around much of Europe. Two of his stories take place in England, where he was stationed for three years. Two stories are located in Germany, where his wife is from. And the last story deals with the adventures of William Tell in Switzerland.
