Introduction to the Suckerfish
The suckerfish, more commonly known as the remora, is one of the most unusual and misunderstood fish in the ocean. At first glance, it often appears insignificant, quietly attached to a much larger animal such as a shark, ray, sea turtle, or even a whale. In the vast and often dangerous environment of the open ocean, survival is not guaranteed by size alone.
