This book began with the intention of giving it to my children as a Christmas gift. But then I decided that if they could use this information, maybe someone else may find it helpful and interesting. Through the years, I have discovered many things to make life easier and more fun. I want to share them with you. Some, you may think are pretty cool and others quite silly. Some of these stupendous ideas came from magazines or from my mother or mother-in-law or friends, or by chance, me. Then, I thought it would be fun to share some of my memories. Through all my years I have held many jobs and done many things. Each one brought its own lessons. Live is a bowl of cherries, but sometimes it's the pits. I grew up in the 1950's and 60's, so many of you may remember some of these treasures.
