Man started in fellowship with God at the Garden of Eden and he will end up in God's presence in the fullness of time. For believers, this will be a glorious moment of beholding Christ, our redeemer, and having a holy embrace of him. It is the will of the Father, that this fellowship with man, be strengthened in Christ in this land of the living. This is essential, so that believers may stand in this life as mighty witnesses of the death and resurrection of Christ. That is, be a representation of the Father and express image of his person here on earth in all practical Christian living. This is effectively achieved through Christ. A believer therefore, must labor for strong discipleship. And this book discusses some of the truths or experiences which we believe contribute greatly in strengthening this discipleship. In particular, a clear understanding of our identity in Christ, guarding against the love of this world, absolute surrender to Christ, figuring the greatness of God as his exclusive glory and also considering that we shall be at the center of the glory and majesty of Christ's return on earth, are some of the issues discussed in details in this book. As you read it, may you be strengthened in the inner man not only in the oldness of the letter but more so in power. May the reading create an enduring thirst and hunger to experience Christ now and in the time to come.
