A giftable boxed set of three laugh-out-loud books from New York Times bestselling author Adam Rex's riotous Gumluck the Wizard series!

Get to know everyone's favorite bumbling noodlehead in these three tall tales about a kind little wizard who lives inside a big hill. His greatest wish is to be a hero. But can he be? Maybe with the help of Butterscotch, the tiny ghost that haunts his hair, and a wise (if she does say so herself) raven named Helvetica.

This boxed set includes paperback editions of the first three madcap adventures in the beloved chapter book series:

  • The Story of Gumluck the Wizard
  • The Story of Gumluck and the Dragon's Eggs
  • The Story of Gumluck and the Heroes
Follow along as the three friends battle a confused dragon, singing goblins, a castle that slides down a hill, the ridiculous Prince Whoop-de-doo, and all kinds of yawns--even some that shoot flames! With entirely delightful illustrations and a lighthearted mix of fantasy and fairytale elements, this imaginative book set is perfect for young fans of wizardry, magic, and the special alchemy of friendship.

THREE-BOOK SET: Join the many fans of this delightfully silly series with the first three books in one handy set.

JUST RIGHT FOR NEW READERS: With simple sentences, engaging illustrations, and big themes explored with humor and heart, this set is the perfect choice for newly independent readers who love magical tales.

FAVORITE AUTHOR: Adam Rex is an acclaimed New York Times bestselling children's book creator and winner of countless state list awards. He is known for his funny and smart stories, including On Account of the Gum, Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich, School's First Day of School, and many more.
