We have evacuated to a safe place far away.
We wonder what the storm will do during our stay.

A bear family evacuates from their home during a storm. Even though the storm may be scary the family embraces the fact that they are safe and with one another. This short story is great for comforting children during the event of any type of storm. Storm Story provides a light and palatable description of the possible effects of a storm. This book has a rhyming style which makes it great to read aloud. Please note that this book is not about storm types or storm formation. It is about the way in which a family quells anxiety or fear during a natural disaster.
