Open lands or grasslands are a neglected ecosystem on the planet Earth and noticeably enough, they do inhabit life globally. This book, includes in its examination the main grasslands, some of which are prairies, pampas, savannas, steppes amongst others. The book also looks the issues like desertification, pollution, overpopulation and the efforts for its coexistence and even promotion.
