The STITCHES is a gut-bustlingly, hilariously, and outrageously funny comedy, depicting the comical day-to-day lifestyles, hustles, and bustles in the adjoining counties of backwoods Alabama.
Lottery playing addict, Boogey Johnson, and his trouble-making cousin, Winton, take you on the ride of comical, pain-staking, and sometimes downright rude situations; finding themselves mixed up with crooked law officials and a group of mobsters and misfits.
Another character, Rev., Reverend Ronald - though not a real reverend, but an ex-gang member, born-again Saint - spends his days educating folks on the Word, only to find his past haunted by his demons.
Mild-mannered Boogey finds himself united with an ex-friend turned rival, the king of pranks and mastermind of deception, Melley, who deceptively plots against Boogey in a quest for revenge, a plot that unleashes a slew of revenge.
Unable to distinguish professionalism from play, Boogey and Winton indulge in non-stop, childish behavior that eventually spills into the workplace, delighting workers and pissing off their bosses.
Foiled into a lie, financially struggling Boogey and Nattie embark on a shopping spree after being pranked into thinking they are mega jackpot winners; the plot gets them deeper in debt with their creditors as well as old-school gangsters.
As for Winton, if making enemies with a corrupt sheriff, deputies, shifty country store owner, and others is not enough, he gets caught up with a notorious, country drug lord who stops at nothing to punish his rivals.
STITCHES is a laugh-out-loud comedy, filled with funny twists, turns, and intricate plots that leave you in deep laughter, wondering what is next. If you enjoy comedy, this is a must-read! There are all sorts of knuckleheads in life, and everyone is affiliated with at least one; however, the STITCHES' cast has an exceptionally higher number in this small community. A masterpiece; STITCHES mingles crazy humor, romance, and outrageous, hilarious comedy, with escalating comical events.
