Stingrays are one of the most dangerous species of fish. Their tails are packed with venom and they can easily slice us to the core. Similar to stingrays, life's situations have a way of stinging us at the most inopportune moments. Unfavorable times may come upon us whether we deserve them or not. The victory or defeat is found in how well we can navigate through the storm. The different stages of pain are inescapable, if we are being honest with ourselves.
The stingrays of life come unexpectedly. They may represent an abrupt end to a relationship, the death of a loved one, battling racism or pressures resulting from the effects of social media. Stingrays will evoke feelings of passion, anger, determination and love. This collection of poetry details how various elements of life feel as we are going through them, in real time. Everything won't always go our way. However, we can thrive with purpose; leaving our own sting on the world as we ride the waves.
Stingrays is an in depth look beneath the initial point of contact. Identify your stingrays in the exploration of this exclusive ocean of peauxetic prose, as it relates to the ebb and flow of daily life. This poetry collection will help you uncover the importance of those experiences.
