On the edge of the Merrin Flats dunes sits the fading town of Ashwater-a place once fed by a spring that locals say vanished in a single night. Some called it a legend. No one agrees what happened... or what still lingers in the silence it left behind.

When four friends travel west for a weekend escape to the nearby dunes, Ashwater feels more forgotten than dangerous. But after one of them vanishes overnight, the remaining friends find themselves pulled into a tightening spiral of fear, isolation, and violence that stretches across the endless desert night.

As panic spreads and trust erodes, the group realizes the desert may not be hiding a monster at all.
