Still continues the emotional and introspective journey of Stuck. Through its verses, it revisits the intricate facets of the human experience, including mental health, self-doubt, fear, anxiety, self-deprecation, spirituality, relationships, and the personal battles that often go unseen. Now, a decade has passed within this cycle of uncertainty and inner conflict. Ten years of questioning, fearing, overthinking, withdrawing, and sometimes letting old characteristics speak louder than the person striving to become. Still acknowledges that growth does not always follow a straight line. Sometimes, despite how far we have come, we find ourselves standing in familiar places, facing familiar thoughts. Throughout these 21 additional poems, the book explores the small but meaningful steps toward breaking that cycle. These include building healthy habits, distancing oneself from negativity, becoming more intentional, and choosing progress, even when it feels small. These changes have helped, but they have not erased every old characteristic or completely silenced the parts of the self that can pull us back into doubt and discouragement. There is growth, but there is also struggle. There is progress, but there are setbacks. There are moments of confidence followed by moments of questioning whether anything has truly changed. The poems live within that tension, capturing what it means to continue becoming while still carrying pieces of who you once were. Still is ultimately a reflection on perseverance. It is the decision to keep moving forward even when transformation feels slow. It is a reminder that the person we are today is actively shaping the person we will become tomorrow, and that the small choices we make now can eventually create the life we once only imagined.
