Still Jim is a novel by Honore Willsie that was first published in 1917. The book tells the story of Jim, a young man who is born and raised in the rural South. Jim is a free spirit who loves the outdoors and has a deep connection to the land. However, his life takes a dramatic turn when he falls in love with a wealthy woman named Helen. Despite their different backgrounds, Jim and Helen find themselves drawn to one another and begin a secret romance. However, their relationship is threatened by the disapproval of Helen's father, who believes that Jim is not good enough for his daughter. As Jim struggles to win over Helen's father and prove his worth, he must also confront his own inner demons and come to terms with his place in the world. The novel is a poignant exploration of love, class, and identity, and is a timeless classic of American literature. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
