Martin Silvers, a hardworking pediatrician, is keeping a secret from his wife that could prove deadly. His wife, Stella Silvers, a free lance photographer, notices the change in her husband and suspects that he may be having an affair. But when Stella's twelve-year-old son makes a new best friend, and Stella meets the attractive father, complications set in that change the Silvers family forever. In 1988, in a quiet Los Angeles suburb, the Silvers appear as the perfect family. But on the inside, we find an unhappy husband who is no longer intimate with his wife, a son in need of a new best friend, and Stella, who is determined to find out why her husband has lost interest in her. As Stella uncovers the secret, her ideal life and marriage are transformed into a personal battle of survival. Stella Silvers and the Secret is a story about a woman's fight to save her family and her attempt to protect her son when she uncovers the truth about the deadly consequences of living a lie.
