Lumi and Tavi live at Starlight Station, a warm and wonderful place in the middle of the galaxy. When their Cosmic Communicator begins to beep, the two robot friends set off in the Stellar Sprinter to help their neighbors in space.
First, they visit the Singing Comet Field, where the comets have lost their songs. Then they travel to the Rainbow Asteroid Garden, where the colors have fallen out of place. Along the way, they meet Twila, a shy star cloud who worries her light is not bright enough.
With teamwork, courage, and kindness, Lumi and Tavi bring music, color, and light back to the galaxy before returning home for a peaceful night's rest.
