When Tia looks up one night, something is wrong. The stars are shining, her little lamp is glowing, and Lumo is bright at her side, but the Moon has vanished from the sky. Without her gentle glow, the moon-daisies close, the tide forgets its way, and the whole night feels lost.
Together, Tia and Lumo journey across the Hushing Moor, past a still black mountain tarn, and into the soft Grey behind the peaks, where they find the Moon hiding in shame. The Moon believes her light does not matter because it is borrowed from the sun. But Tia knows a gentle truth: even a borrowed light shines true.
