The Star Kids

When eight-year-old Azira discovers a book in the library about stars, he doesn't expect the tug of sadness that settles into his heart - or the strange feeling he can't quite name.

The book isn't about twinkly stars in the heavens but about kids who didn't get to stay.

As the stars shimmer with laughter, courage and fun - and the earth kids respond with kindness, emotion and wonder. Az, together with his best mate Billy, learns that every child, whether on Earth or in the stars, leaves a sparkle in the world that cannot be erased.

A heartfelt tale for loss families to hold close, The Star Kids explores connection, emotion, remembrance and the magic that begins when one young boy thinks - that's not fair...

A tale for families who have suffered the loss of a perfect baby or child, at any time, the ache remains. It is a book written to bring a moment of comfort, where families can shimmer with their own loss child within its pages and journey together wrapped in wonder and light.
