The numerous species of Sand Crabs that roam our beaches are fascinating little creatures. Their tall eyes are perched high on top of slender stalks. They are like nature's tiny periscopes, allowing them to peer safely out of their holes. Sand Crabs are a joy to watch. They scurry about at speeds close to 15 feet per second back and forth from their burrows and then peek out to see if it is safe to come out again. Stalk Eyes, a story with an anti-bullying message, is about a special Fiddler Crab with exceptionally tall eyes. With its cast of endearing characters, endless humor, and playful illustrations, Stalk Eyes captures the importance of being kind to others. After being teased at school for being different, Stalk Eyes uses his exceptionality to save the lives of his classmates. It's true-heroes do come in all shapes and sizes as shown by this special Fiddler Crab! Let's join together to embrace the importance of individual acceptance. Be kind to everyone around you. They could someday become your hero, too. Visit author's website at: mystalkeyes.com
