Spring Days is a novel written by George Moore, a prominent Irish writer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The book is a coming-of-age story set in the rural Irish countryside during the late 1800s. The protagonist, Stephen Lawless, is a young man who is struggling to find his place in the world. He is torn between his desire to break free from his traditional upbringing and pursue his dreams, and his loyalty to his family and community. Along the way, he falls in love with a young woman named Mary, who shares his ambitions but also understands the importance of tradition and family. Together, they navigate the challenges of growing up and finding their place in the world, while also grappling with the larger social and political issues of their time. Spring Days is a beautifully written and deeply moving novel that explores themes of love, loyalty, tradition, and the struggle for self-discovery.A grand piano was indispensable in Frank's surroundings, both for its appearance in the studio and the relaxation it afforded in the various interludes. Several journeys to London were made before the lamps to be used were determined on (a modern design was essential), and the brass fittings to hang candles from the rafters required still more delicate and cautious consideration; at last it was decided to have none. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
