Reparos al Diccionario de chilenismos del Señor Don Zorobabel Rodriguez is a critical examination of Zorobabel RodrÃ-guez's dictionary of Chilean Spanish. Written by Fidelis Pastor del Solar, this work offers detailed analysis and commentary on the entries, definitions, and overall approach of RodrÃ-guez's lexicographical effort. It provides valuable insights into the nuances of Chilean language and its distinctive vocabulary during the 19th century.
This book serves as an important resource for scholars and students of linguistics, particularly those interested in the evolution and unique characteristics of Spanish as it is spoken in Chile. It presents a historical perspective on the study of 'chilenismos' and contributes to a deeper understanding of the cultural and linguistic identity of Chile.
