This story is based on a real little mouse that stood on his hind legs with his front paws together on the fender of my MGB sports car, watching me work. When I saw Mouse, I chased him away, but he kept coming back and watching from different places around the car. I could not get the thought out of my head that he wanted to help.
Three years later, in 2020, I wrote Mouse, the Man and the MGB.
