This Spanish book is the second volume of a series called El Universo de los Hanún-Ais. This series is composed of three original fantasy books graded in three levels: A2-B1(Introductory), B1-B2 (Intermediate) and B2-C1 (Advanced). Even though the three novels are placed in the same universe and are connected among them, every book is auto-conclusive, so you do not need to read the other two to understand the story.
These books have been written by J.M.Hernández, a native and experienced Spanish teacher who has a degree in Spanish linguistics and more than 10 years of teaching experience. His approach is creating language books with good and clear writing, careful explanation of the grammar and vocabulary, but, above all, with relevant and enjoyable content. He is passionate about fantasy stories and writers like J.R.R. Tolkien and Michael Ende among many others. He also loves helping students to grasp the details of his language. His main objective is to have a really enjoyable story and not merely something boring written in Spanish. His objective is to help you. You can learn Spanish and at the same time enjoy reading.
In this book you will go to the origin of the Universe of the Hanún-Ais and you will find out how its problems started. You will meet Abarión-JaÃl, the Hanún-Ai of the strength, you will read about a human rebellion and about a fight against the golden giants, and you will see how Talique, a human, fights against Abarión-JaÃl, the Guardian of his planet. Why all this happened? How all will end up...? You can read the story in the second volume of this series.
In this book, you'll find:
-10 chapters of Story, 10 chapters of Comprehension and Composition exercises, and 10 chapters of Grammar explanations.
-Grammar topics have been introduced gradually from easier (B1) to more difficult (B2) in the text of the story itself.
-A complete and, above all, practical explanation of the grammatical topics. But the emphasis is on reading and enjoying, so, these explanations are at the end of the book so you can either read and study them or overlook them. That is up to you.
-Exercises of Comprehension and Composition, the introduction of different Vocabulary in every chapter.
-Footnotes that have been designed to make your reading easier so you do not have to stop every minute when a complicated word comes up.
