Justino Mártir dedicated himself to philosophy by calling it the greatest of goods. He studied with the Stoics, Aristotelians, Pythagoreans and Platonists. He put all his philosophical knowledge to the service of the faith, opening in Rome the first school of Christian philosophy known; Dedicated to exposing the evangelical truth according to the Scriptures and according to the testimony of reason.
