B5)) and SMALL ENSEMBLE ACCOMPANIMENT Nocturno Soñado (aka Nocturnal Dream) is a beautiful and existential song in Spanish set to the poem by Spanish poet Juan Ramón Jiménez (1881-1958) by American composer James Nathaniel Holland. This song evokes images of the relationship of the soul and the body in the hour of death and is the final song of Holland's song cycle Canciones Latinas (Female Voice) of original music set to poems through the centuries. However, this arrangement and song text is appropriate for male or female high voice. This versatile publication not only contains the full score but individual parts, and can be performed with only piano and voice or as only an instrumental presentation. Perfect for recital, religious setting or funeral/memorial service. Instrumentation: Voice, Flute (or Violin 1), Violin 2, Bb Instrument (Trumpet but can be substituted with Clarinet, Viola part also included in C and in alto clef), Cell (part can be double with Double Bass), Percussion (Cymbal with soft mallet, splash cymble)), and Pno Although there are individual parts included for piano and vocal solo in this publication, piano only/vocal score sold separately.
