While investigating the mysteries of the ocean, a group of third graders in Madison, Wisconsin make a startling discovery: many of the creatures that call the sea home are battling a perilous struggle to survive. Feeling compelled to take action, the children research ocean animals and write poems, publishing an anthology with all proceeds being donated to oceanographer Sylvia Earle's organization, Mission Blue. And now this collection of poems has been translated into Spanish. From beluga whales to sea dragons, the poems written by third graders in A New Thought on Blue dive deep into the world of aquatic wonders. You may never think about the ocean in the same way again.
