Emmanuel Malynski constituye una interesante figura intelectual que, en el periodo de entreguerras, sacó a la luz una serie de obras entre las que destaca La Guerre Occulte, publicada en 1940 en co-autoría con Léon de Poncins, a quién el propio Malynski confió el legado de su obra. La obra que nos ocupa fue publicada en 1928, y pretende lanzar un análisis, desde el punto de vista tradicional, sobre los cambios operados por la democracia liberal y el capitalismo sobre las sociedades europeas desde mediados del siglo XIX hasta finales de los años 20.
A la luz de los valores tradicionales y de un cristianismo de inspiración feudal, con todo el agregado de valores y principios inherentes a éste, Malynski analiza la sustancia y esencia de los grandes fenómenos políticos, ideológicos e históricos, desde el desarrollo de la teoría de la conspiración y lo que el autor polaco concebía como el gran frente de la Subversión Mundial. No en vano, la presente obra fue traducida e introducida por primera vez en Italia por Julius Evola, con quien Emmanuel Malynski colaboró y sobre el que ejerció una relativa influencia.
